University portfolio

In my work, I love using a mix of media like paints, pencils, pens as well as photography, digital pieces and anything crafty. During my latest project I have been focusing on using cardboard and a hot glue gun as I was inspired by an artist called Ana serrano as she uses a mix of cardboard and wood for her pieces, her work is mainly of the building that inspires her. Another artist is also inspired by William Kentridge and how he uses charcoal and makes it into an animation piece to go on a set for a play as this different set are normally shown. For my last project, I have been wanting to show what lockdown has been like inside my house with cardboard and thing I can find easily around the house. The aim was for the viewer to look at my work and think of the covid lockdown and know-how we felt during this time feeling trapped and locked in.
